Like beer? You’ll LOVE Monk’s Kettle. Weave your way through the folks playing music on the sidewalk and into Monk’s for an amazing, multi-page beer experience! I’m a Chimay ale guy and they didn’t let me down with the selection. Page after page of beer awaits you. You name it and they’ll have it or something like it. The service was fantastic. The server we had took time to explain what was what and to make suggestions event though the place was hopping.
And what goes better with beer than a selection of fine food? Monk’s has an impressive selection of top notch foodstuffs from HUGE burgers to fried goat cheese served on a bed of spinach with tomato and toasted bread. Delicious! Cheap? No, not at all, but well worth a fancy night out with friends in search of spirits. Tables and a long bar seating area, but the place is small, so be prepared to wait.
The kitchen is open every day until 1 AM. After 11:30 PM, they offer a slightly more limited menu.
