Let’s get this straight – I HATE television these days. Reality TV is killing American brain cells, Survivor is teaching us that the way to win is to screw over your buddy and Battlestar Galactica tells us that killer robot hookers will destroy us all. , YES! They are still on the friggin island! GEEZ!

Yet among the garbage floats a beautiful flower. Pushing Daisies is a well written, smart comedy that is brilliantly shot and expertly written. It’s a dream world where a lazy detective and a man who has the power to bring the dead back to life solve murders for cash…but, at what cost? And then there’s the love of his life, now very much alive, but at what cost? And pies. Lots of pies.
